The Black Hole is being renovated
Cooking for 120 children, plus staff, on a daily basis, is a challenge. Over the years (and without an extractor hood), it leaves its mark. A generous donation has allowed us to tackle renovating the Black Hole, also known as the kitchen. While the work is being done, our cooks have taken their pots and pans to a nearby storage room, where they are improvising as best they can. Despite the inconvenience, they are looking forward to having a lovely new kitchen soon. They – and we – would like to thank the newlyweds who, instead of wedding presents, asked for donations to renovate our kitchen.
